Lib Dem Town Councillor Oliver Forder brought concerns about the time it was taking the developer to complete and finish footpath, lights and landscaping work at the flood compensation scheme on the Cateseby Meadow development. The houses have been sold but the estate is still adopted by Suffolk CC or parts by Babergh DC.
A long running fight has been made by residents which I have supported. It has gone as high as Chief Executive level at Babergh DC. It is a good example of the need for joint enforcement action by both Councils.
Signs have gone up for footpath works this week but this will not finish outstanding works required.
Councillors agreed to write to the Babergh Chief Executive to complain about the time taken with getting the developer to complete all works.Leave a comment
